isaiah 3714

“Then Hezekiah took the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and he went up to the house of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord.”  Isaiah 37:14

When you’re on a mission – any problem that you encounter is ultimately a problem for the one who sent you on the mission. And the best response to the problem is exactly the response of Hezekiah when he was threatened by an invading army – he gave it to God. God was the one that made him king, and God was the one Hezekiah had committed to serve wholeheartedly on this mission. So when a serious problem arose all he had to do was simply give it to God. After all, it was God’s problem!

If you’re not walking with God and fully committed to Him then you’re totally on your own. And if you’re on your own, when a problem presents itself it’s your responsibility to ultimately deal with it. The problem with that is when you face an issue that you can do nothing about – what then? You turn to God and commit yourself – and your problem – to Him.

If you are a follower of God then you are on His mission, so anything you face along the way is His issue. All you have to do is give your problems to God and lay it out before Him – just like Hezekiah did. God is waiting for your problem. He can’t be caught off guard. Give it to Him – and fully commit your life to Him today!
